  1. What is Jute?
    “Jute” is the name of the plant or fibre used for making burlap, hessian or gunny cloth. It is a completely natural fibre with a diversifying usage. Various fabrics can be made by different processing of this fibre.
  2. Is jute products financially beneficial?

    Completely biodegradable.

    Absolutely.
  5. Is jute comfortable to wear in summers?
    Jute fabric provides better thermal conduction in comparison to any other natural fabric that does not let you perspire and makes the fabric cool and comfortable. Guys, it is the best fabric for summer. 
  6. Advantages of jute fibers and fabrics?
    – Jute fiber is absolutely biodegradable, recyclable and environmentally friendly.
    – The fabric made of jute is strong as it has high tensile strength.
    – The fabrics] made of jute have low extensibility.
    – The fabric made of jute provides better breathability.
    – The fabric made of jute has a good insulating and antistatic properties
    – The fabric made of jute has low thermal conductivity and moderate moisture regaining property.
    – The fabric made of jute absorbs moisture to a certain level thus provides a cooling effect which will provide comfort indoors and is good for electrical appliances too.
  7. Disadvantages of jute fabrics?
    – Crease resistance of jute fiber is very low; though blending with other biodegradable fiber resolves the matter completely.
    – Initial costing may look higher than plastic.
    – Raw jute fiber can cause skin irritation though various processing methods resolve this problem completely.
    – Wet jute loses strength like other natural fibers.

    Totally depends on the product, usage and the processing done on raw jute fiber.

    Divulge means “to make known”. Our perspective is to make jute a known daily essential.  We are trying to bring together all the beneficial traits of jute including its beautiful architecture under one roof, thus “Divulge Jute”.

    We are not ready yet though we are working on the infrastructure needed for the same.

    Yes. The product cost may vary accordingly.
